Toronto kesklinnas, Viljo Revelli kuulsa raekoja vahetus läheduses kõrgub tähelepanuväärne hoone, mis on pälvinud rohkem halvakspanu kui ükski teine sõjajärgne ehitis Torontos. Aadressi tõttu hakati maja kutsuma Wes Craveni samaaegse õudusfilmi järgi „Elmi tänava luupainajaks”.
1983. aastal valminud 77 Elm St. on Toronto lastehaigla õdedele ehitatud 17-korruseline elamu koos viiekorruselise garaažiga. Välis-Eesti arhitekti Uno Prii karjääri lõpujärku kuuluv ehitis peegeldab brutalistliku betoonarhitektuuri esteetikat, tema 1960. aastate loomingule iseloomulikud lennukad vormid ja valged pinnad on siin asendunud robustse valubetooni ning nurgeliste inim- ja loomakujukestega. Tänavale avanevat (Toronto kesklinna kontekstis vägagi tänuväärset) skväärikest palistavad Lihavõttesaare moaisid meenutavad sünged kujud, tänava kohal kõrgub käega viipav deformeerunud inimese hiiglaslik figuur, millele sekundeerivad väikesed dinosauruste pead – tõsi, see kõik ilmneb vaid neile, kes raatsivad esmapilgul vast tõesti heidutava ilmega maja vaatlemisele veidi aega pühendada. Oleks ehk liig hakata kogu seda sümbolismi tõsimeeli analüüsima, kõige tõenäolisemalt Prii lihtsalt lõbutses, võib-olla aimates oma tunnustamata arhitektikarjääri saabuvat lõppu.
Kriitikale vaatamata on see üks Toronto erilisemaid arhitektuuriteoseid ning üks Prii kuueteistkümnest hoonest, mis lisatud Toronto arhitektuuripärandi nimekirja.

In downtown Toronto, near Viljo Revell’s famous city hall, is an ordinary building that has earned more scorn than any other post-war building in Toronto. Because of its location on Elm St, it has earned the nickname “The Nightmare on Elm Street” after Wes Craven’s famous horror film.
The residential property owned and operated by the Hospital for Sick Children with its five-story garage at 77 Elm Street was completed in 1983. This structure, which was completed in the final period of Prii’s career, reflects the aesthetic of brutalist concrete architecture. The spirited forms and bright white surfaces typical of his work in the 1960s is here replaced by robust cast-in-place concrete, and angular human and animal figures. The square that opens onto the street (something that is very appreciated in downtown Toronto) is edged with grim figures reminiscent of the moai of Easter Island, and rising above the street, is a gigantic deformed human figure waving its hand. These are complemented by small dinosaur heads – of course, this is all only apparent to those who spend a little time examining the building. It would be somewhat of an exaggeration to start seriously analysing this symbolism. Most probably, Prii was simply having fun, and maybe sensed that his unrecognised career as an architect was coming to an end.
Despite the criticism, this is one of the most unusual architectural projects in Toronto and included among the sixteen buildings designed by Prii that have been added to the Heritage Register.
